The road into Point Dume Beach remains closed one more day. Pedestrians ok to walk in and many groups of beach goers made the trek despite the cooler temperature. Tractors remain and work was done to clean sand and remove debris on beach.

Partly cloudy 62 degrees, clear views of Channel Islands. No whales seen despite great conditions. The sunset ended with a quick green flash.

*****Two solo gray whales were seen mid day, north bound an hour apart by a REW (reliable eye witness) no re- sightings as they continued migrating north.
