Two Gray Whales: Gray Cloudy Skies

2 North Bound 0 South Bound 5.75 hrs

Gray Cloudy Skies 64° Air 61° Water. Wind 7-9 mph with 12-15mph gusts.

Two Gray Whales at the end of the day. Spyhopping and multiple head lifts with several direction changes before traveling through north bound in the low light. Whispy blows and choppy surf made tracking very difficult. One of the pair has rake marks or scars from previous Killer Whale attacks. Both whales have white scars on rostrum with bright orange lice and barnacles.
