No Whales observed on effort. Unseasonably warm morning 77°Air 60° Water. Wind 7-9 mph with 10-12 mph gusts. Afternoon 84°Air 60°water, Santa Ana Wind event picked up 15-20 mph winds with gusts over 25 mph. Beach goers out in force with many waders, swimmers and boogie boarders catching the shore break waves cooling off from the usually warm winter day.



A bright orange golden glow at sunset thanks to the scattering of light known as the “Rayleigh scattering” of which the yellow/ orange rays are a longer wavelength and can be seen at sunset and sunrise.
