Rain, Sunshine and more Rain: Two Gray Whales

Rain all morning cleared up as storm clouds moved out to the horizon exposing blue skies and sunshine. Late afternoon another storm system moved through with light rain. Wind 8-10mph with ~12mph gusts. Air Temperature 60 degrees. Small scattered white caps and a muddy sandy tideline to ~300 yards out. One sighting of two whales; one stayed close along the shore occasionally head lifting as it traveled and one went out away from the muddy shallow areas leaving as a solo whale. Coastal Bottlenose dolphins hugged the edge of the mud line heading south along the transect.
